In my experience, the CD changer requires only 2 connections: 1) power (the 3-wire plug with power/ground/i-bus) and 2) speaker output (6-pin black connector or digital coax). However, I see the fade, balance, treble etc is on the tape deck and I don't see one on the business cd player. i had this problem in my 95 540 like a week ago.
